Too large
the burden tied
to Jethro’s straining back…
please ease the ropes
that bind…

unload
that animal…
and lay his burden down…
treat him fondly
and fair…

he stares
an angry stare…
I see it in his eyes…
the long day breaks
his spine…

I growl
with great disgust
‘you make my ass tired’…
all you can do
is shrug…

piss poor
excuse for a
humanitarian…
